SEXUAL ASSAULT

On the 19th of March during the evening hours Cst. Steve Taylor of the North Bay Police had occasion to arrest a male in relation to a sexual assault complaint.
This complaint was given by a woman who alleges that an incident took place within the city during the month of January of this year.
Jonathan CARA-DOIRON 19 years old of East St. in Blind River is charged with Sexual Assault and is to attend court on the 6th of May of this year.

MISSING PERSON LOCATED

The North Bay Police Service would like to thank our media friends for their assistance in a missing person case.
Our Service reported Geoffrey Mayne 19 years old missing from the city on the 8th of March.
Today at approximately 9:45 AM Mr. Mayne was seen at the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant on Highway 17 W. and the Anishnabek Police Service was then contacted and eventually our Service was notified.
Mr. Mayne was located safe and sound and once again our Service thanks the media and the public for their assistance.
