ROBBERY On the 15th of Feb. shortly before 4 AM it is alleged that a young man was walking away from an ATM in the downtown core and was accosted by a male who demanded money from him.

On the 15th of Feb. shortly before 4 AM it is alleged that a young man was walking away from an ATM in the downtown core and was accosted by a male who demanded money from him. When this demand was denied, the attacker punched the victim in the face and fled.

Shortly after this same attacker hailed a cab and after arriving at his destination he fled without paying.

Det. Cst. Scott McFarlane of the North Bay Police commenced his investigation and on the 25th of Feb. during the morning hours he effected an arrest on an individual in relation to this alleged crime.

Buck BELLAIRE 33 years old of Main St. E. is charged with Robbery and was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

DRUG RIP OFF

On the 24th of Feb. shortly after 9 PM it is alleged that a male attended a residence within the city to further allegedly sell drugs. This man was attacked by 3 males, a gun was held to his head and he had the drugs stolen from him. This male then fled the scene and attended the North Bay General Hospital and after being treated, reported this alleged incident to the North Bay Police. The next day on the 25th of Feb. during the afternoon hours, Csts. Fernando Cirullo and Gerry Martin of the Investigative Section in the North Bay Police effected an arrest in relation to these alleged acts.

Brent COBB 22 years old of St. Laurent Crt. is charged with Robbery, Point Firearm, Threatening and Possession of Weapons Dangerous. He remains in custody for a bail hearing and the investigation continues.
