ONE FOR ARSON

On the 8th of April shortly after midnight Csts. Greg Dix and Honeysett of the North Bay Police were called to the scene of a fire in the 300 block of Regina St.
This is a multi residential building housing numerous residents.
The North Bay Fire Department was on hand to extinguish the fire and all of the residents were evacuated safely. The officers arrested a male in relation to this incident shortly after arriving there.
Dave GEDEN 33 years old of Regina St. is charged with Arson Endangering Life. He remains in custody for a bail hearing
All of the residents remain temporarily displaced.

Det. Cst. Scott McFarlane of the North Bay Police is presently investigating dealings within the city involving the passing of counterfeit US $50. and $100. bills.
