STOLEN VEHICLE---ARREST

On the 27th of Feb. shortly before 9 PM Cst. Anthony Corrente of the North Bay Police spotted a suspicious vehicle driving on Lakeshore Dr.
A quick police check showed it to be a wanted vehicle out of Calgary.
The officer stopped the vehicle in question and shortly after made his way to a local motel and arrested a man in relation to this alleged incident.
Jack HUGO 72 years old of Kamloops British Columbia is charged with Possession of Stolen property Over $5000. He remains in custody for a bail hearing.

DRUG STOP

On the 27th of Feb. before 6 PM Csts. Jeff Warner and James Kilroy of the North Bay Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.
A further investigation showed that allegedly this vehicle contained an amount of marijuana. Consequently the occupant was arrested.
Dean MILLER 50 years old of Lakeshore Dr. in North Bay is charged with Possession of Marijuana for the Purpose of Trafficking and 2 Counts of Breach of an Undertaking. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

NICE FARE

On the 27th of Feb. shortly before 7 PM Csts. Brad Reaume and Dan Shepstone of the North Bay Police had occasion to stop a cab with a passenger within.
It is alleged that the passenger was in possession of what is believed to be cocaine and further that this passenger was wanted by our Service for Robbery With a Firearm. He was arrested.
Ira ORCHARD 19 years old of First Av. E. is charged with Possession of Cocaine, 4 Counts of Breach of Probation and Robbery With Firearm. He is being held for a bail hearing.

UNRULY BEHAVIOIUR

On the 27th of Feb. shortly before 11 PM Cst. Greg Dix of the North Bay Police was in the process of investigating an assault where a person was being treated at the North Bay General Hospital. As this was being done the individual at the Hospital began shouting and swearing at staff. The officer arrested the person and after treatment she was brought to the Police station. While being lodged in cells it is alleged that she spit in the officer’s face.
Cheryl ALLAN 45 years old of Sauble Beach is charged with Causing a Disturbance and Assault Peace Officer. She is to attend court at a later date.
