ASSIST POLICE
On Sunday 10th Apr at 7:30PM a 13 yr old struck a black dodge calibre on Hwy 17West near the Phara building with a snowball. A woman was driving the vehicle and had a male passenger. It is alleged that the vehicle stopped, the man got out of the vehicle hopped the fence and chased the 13 yr old until he caught him behind Zellers. It is alleged that the youth was knocked down and his backpack with some valuables in it taken. The man left with the backpack stating he would call the police but did not. North Bay Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this man or the vehicle. The man is described as Caucasian, 25to35yrs old; 5’8”, clean shaven, with short possibly dyed blonde hair, wearing a black tracksuit with red and white on the sleeves. BREAK AND ENTER
Between 10PM Apr 13th and 12:20Am Apr 14th a 2nd Ave E building was broken into and a snowboard, paintball gun, and sweaters were taken from a common area laundry room. An apartment in the same building was also entered and a playstation 360 and cigarettes taken. Cst Bruce Whitehead is investigating.
