SWORD FIGHT On the 1st of March shortly before 4 AM it is alleged that an argument ensued between a man and a woman at a North Bay residence. The man in question swung a sword at the driver’s window where the woman sat.

On the 1st of March shortly before 4 AM it is alleged that an argument ensued between a man and a woman at a North Bay residence. The man in question swung a sword at the driver’s window where the woman sat. The window shattered and the sword narrowly missed the female occupant.

This matter was reported to the North Bay Police and Csts. Helene Boissonneault backed up by other officers attended the residence in question and arrested a male in relation to this alleged incident.

Brandon SULLIVAN 25 years old of Lakeheights Rd. is charged with Assault With a Weapon, Mischief Under $5000. and Weapons Dangerous. He is to attend court on the 8th of April.

MAN & WOMAN FIGHT

On the 2nd of March during the evening hours an argument took place between a man and woman within the city. It is alleged that this fight progressed where both parties fought with each other and both also produced knives to threaten the other.

The North Bay Police Service became aware of this and sent Cst. Marc Ethier and PC Corrente to the scene.

Dineshni CHEMERLY 26 years old of Canterbury Cr. and Robert KENNEDY 32 years old of McKeown Av. are both charged with Assault and Assault With a Weapon and are to attend court at a later date.

STOLEN VEHICLE---ARREST

On the 1st of March during the late evening hours it is alleged that Csts. Marc Ethier and PC Corrente of the North Bay Police stopped a vehicle. A Police computer check showed that this vehicle was stolen from Quebec.

A 15 year old male youth from North Bay is charged with Possession of Stolen Property and Breach of Probation. He is to attend court at a later date.

Joshua JOHNSTON 25 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.

BRASS KNUCKLES

On the 2nd of March during the late evening hours it is alleged that Csts. Stacy Jackson and Vince Corrente of the North Bay Police had occasion to stop a motor vehicle within the city. The driver was found to be in Breach of release conditions and was allegedly also found to be in possession of brass knuckles.

Jeremy BRISEBOIS 21 years old of Cassells St. is charged with Breach of an Undertaking and Possession of Prohibited Weapon. He was kept in custody for a bail hearing.
