THREATENING On the 5 of September 2013, 42 year old, Daphanee De-Shanne of Sturgeon Falls was arrested for two counts of Criminal Harassment. It is alleged that she posted threatening images and messages on Facebook.

On the 5 of September 2013, 42 year old, Daphanee De-Shanne of Sturgeon Falls was arrested for two counts of Criminal Harassment. It is alleged that she posted threatening images and messages on Facebook. The victims in this matter are employees of the local Children’s Aid Society and the Crown Attorney’s office. She is scheduled to appear in bail court on September 6, 2013.

THEFT
On September 5, 2013, 35 year old, Jeff McNeeley of North Bay was arrested for Possession of 31.2 grams of Marihuana, Theft Under $5000.00 and Breach of Probation. A wallet was left unattended in a downtown business and it is alleged that Mr. McNeeley had taken it. $500.00 was stolen from the wallet and some of the funds were used to purchase the Marihuana that he was found in possession of when he was arrested. Mr. McNeely is schedule to appear in bail court on September 6, 2013. Constable Kavanagh is the investigating officer.

ARSON
On September 5, 2013 at approximately 2:00 pm, members of the North Bay Fire Department and the North Bay Police Service attended the area of 895 Jet Avenue regarding a fire that appears to have been deliberately set in a pile of railway ties. At times the fire was approximately 10 feet high, which posed a danger to the surrounding businesses and residences. A similar incident occurred on August 29, 2013.

Constable Kavanagh is the investigating officer for the most recent incident however, anyone with information regarding either of these dangerous incidents is urged to contact the North Bay Police Service.

BREAK AND ENTER
Sometime between September 4 and 5, 2013, a Break, Enter and Theft occurred at a Duke Street East residence. The culprits removed a 55” Samsung television, a Nintendo WII game system with games, clothing, a gas auger, a box of silverware, a digital camcorder and tools. Constable Kerr is investigating.
