RIDE & Weekend Patrols

North Bay Police Service would like to notify the Public that we will be conducting RIDE patrols in North Bay & Callander, FRIDAY and SATURDAY, May 16th & 17th.
We will also be conducting directed patrols of the local beaches and recreational areas such as the Birchaven Cove, Lands & Forest Beach and the North Bay Waterfront beaches etc.

BEGGING WITH DOG

On the 15th of May during the afternoon hours it is alleged that Csts. Ross Lingley
and Ashley St. John, saw a man with a dog begging from motorists on Seymour St.
A police computer check of this man showed him to be wanted by the Ottawa Police
Service for a Drug Warrant.
As the officers arrested him, he was found to be in possession of a flick knife.
Ernest IDLER 24 years old of No Fixed Address is charged with Possession of a
Prohibited Weapon and will be returned to the Ottawa Police Service.
