BODY FOUND Today at approximately 11:30 AM the North Bay Police Service received information from a citizen which resulted in our sending officers to the East end of the city off Highway 63.

Today at approximately 11:30 AM the North Bay Police Service received information from a citizen which resulted in our sending officers to the East end of the city off Highway 63.
Upon the officer’s arrival, they located a body and then contacted the Coroner.
At this time it is a Coroner’s Investigation and consequently any further information will be forthcoming from that Office or from the North Bay Police Service with his authorization.
It is expected that an autopsy will be performed on Monday.

BIG TIME

On the 27th of Aug. shortly before noon the North Bay Police Service received a call from RBC Head Office. Their Security Branch advised that a man was at the Royal Bank branch on Airport Rd. and that he was a suspect in a major fraud investigation.
Csts. Penny Kerr and Steve Brown attended and arrested a suspect in relation to this complaint.
RBC Security will be sending a security investigator to North Bay for this morning’s bail hearing.
Leroy STEWART 43 years old of Weir St. N. in Hamilton is charged with 2 Counts of Attempted Fraud, 4 Counts of Utter Forged Documents and 2 Counts of Personation. He is being held for a bail hearing.
