Are you retired and looking for some extra cash or a way to help your community? Are you an empty nester with time on your hands? Are you a stay-at-home parent looking to pick up some extra income and save money on childcare? Do you have a side-hustle that fits between a split shift?

If you answered yes, to any of the above, then you need to check out the School Bus Driver Job Fair on September 27, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 59 Commerce Crescent in North Bay.

“Being a school bus driver can be such a rewarding part-time job,” enthused a spokesperson for the event. “Our drivers earn at least $70/ day, get their weekends, PD days, and holidays off, and don’t have to work in the summer. We have a ride-along program which allows parents and guardians to bring your kids to work with you!

Free training is provided to all drivers, and no experience is necessary. After three months, drivers become eligible for field-trip and charter driving if they want. All work is part-time with morning and afternoon shifts.

“Being a school bus driver is a rewarding and caring job,” said one driver. “Stock Transportation is a respectful workplace. From the GM to the dispatchers, and other drivers, everyone is so supportive and encouraging. It’s a caring team and that shows in our work!”

“Register and come out to our job fair, find out more, and apply easily in person,” said the spokesperson. “Come as you are. All you need is a class G license, a clear criminal background check, and a cheerful attitude. We look forward to adding you to our team!”
