On December 11th, 2005, five swimmers from the North Bay Titan Swim Team attended the first of two Omni Top Fish Swim Meets. These meets, held in Valley East, are designed to help young swimmers get the opportunity to experience competitive swimming in a low key environment.

The five Titans were Samantha Cowan (8), Madison Fraser(9), Aurora Buckley (9), Tanner Noth (10) and Hutton Noth (7). Tanner was the only boy tough enough to do the one hundred I.M., while Samantha, Madison and Aurora won their heats with ease. It was a great opportunity for young swimmers to “test” the waters and see whether they like racing. All five of them were convinced that it is a fun and exciting sport and look forward to their next opportunity at the Sturgeon Falls Recreation Center on January 14th and 15th, 2006 as the Titans host a Northeastern Regional Developmental Meet. The next Omni Top Fish Meet will be in May.
