The Sudbury Wolves erased a two goal third period deficit but it wasn't enough as the Plymouth Whalers won 4-3 in overtime to take a 3-2 series lead in the best-of-seven OHL Championship series.

Dan Collins was the overtime hero for the Whalers who outshot the Wolves 19-1 in overtime and spoiled an incredible goaltending performance by Wolves goalie Sebastien Dahm who turned aside 77 shots in the game five loss.

Nick Foligno, Justin Donati and Patrik Lusnak scored for the Wolves while Jared Boll, Evan Brophey and Chris Terry had the other Whaler goals in regulation.

So for the first time in the OHL playoffs the Wolves will be faced with an elimination game as the Wolves look to force a deciding game 7 with a victory on home ice Sunday night back in Sudbury.
