Will North Bay make Hockeyville Top 5?

North Bay hockey fans will be on the edge of their seats while watching Hockey Night in Canada on CBC.

The Top 5 announcement is expected to be made after the first period of the Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Calgary Flames game on CBC which starts at 10 p.m. ET.

On-line Top 5 voting took place from March 4th to 9th at www.cbc.ca/hockeyville.

North Bay was named in the Top 10 of the 2007 competition last Sunday during a Kraft Hockeyville special on CBC hosted by Cassie Campbell and Ron Maclean.

The winner of the 2007 Kraft Hockeyville event will then be announced on March 17th with the winning community to host a unique NHL exhibition game and receive $50,000.00 in arena upgrades.

North Bay has already won $10,000 in arena upgrades during the Merit prize voting which took place between February 5th to 23rd.
