The White Sox defeated the Royals by a score of 9-2 to capture the North Bay Baseball Association`s Mosquito “A” championship, while the Athletics nipped the Red Sox by a score of 2-1 to capture the Mosquito “B” title.
The White Sox team placed their gloves and held up their fingers in support of their teammate Drew Duquette (# 6) who had to miss the playoffs for medical reasons.
