What's in a logo?

The National Hockey League has created a new look. Many teams are changing their jerseys and even their logo to go along with the new streamlined jerseys that continue to be unveiled on a weekly basis by NHL franchises.

Because of that we at BayToday.ca thought we’d have a little fun.

The North Bay Skyhawks name was created during a "Name the Team Competition," in the summer of 2002 after the OHL’s North Bay Centennials were shuffled off to Saginaw.
Not long after that the Skyhawks logo was born. The bird-like airplane holding a stick was designed by a local college student.

In this photo gallery is a number of different logos for teams also called “The Skyhawks.” How does the North Bay logo stand against the other Skyhawks logos? You be the judge.
