The West Ferris Secondary School Senior Trojans soccer team played their first home game of the season Wednesday night defeating the Northern Braves 4-2 in a hard fought game in cold and windy conditions.
The West Ferris Secondary School Senior Trojans soccer team played their first home game of the season Wednesday night defeating the Northern Braves 4-2 in a hard fought game in cold and windy conditions.
The Braves jumped to an early lead in the first half off a corner kick. The Trojans replied a short time later leaving the teams tied 1-1 at the half.
The Braves took the lead in the second half, but the Trojans took advantage of playing with the wind to score 3 unanswered goals en route to the 4-2 victory.
Goal scorers for the Trojans were Caleb Fricker and Josh Hickey with 2 goals each while Darren Clark and Andrew Horner replied for the Braves.
Neil Isenegger and Andrew MacIntosh anchored a strong Trojan defence.
