With the season approaching, the Powassan Voodoos are looking for North Bay billet families for players who will be going to school in North Bay

The Powassan Voodoos hockey club has a unique situation.

With the team being affiliated with the North Bay Battalion, the club has billet families in both North Bay and Powassan.

The North Bay billets primarily take the younger players who are still enrolled in high school in North Bay, while the older players not in school enjoy the lifestyle in the Almaguin community.

Families receive financial compensation for the players staying at their home and the billet family is not responsible for driving the players to and from the rink.  Families also receive Voodoos season tickets.

The Voodoos begin their training camp on August 24th in Powassan and billet families would likely begin taking in players in the final week of August or after the Labour Day weekend.
