Vipers strike NOHA Gold!

The East Nipissing Bantam (Hilltop Variety) Viper Rep Team captured the gold medal in the NOHA Tournament of Champions held in Powassan on the weekend. They reached the semi-finals with a 2 and 1 record and defeated the Schumacher Bears in a thrilling 5-3 victory to reach the championship game.

The team went on to win the championship game 6-5 against the Chapleau Stars with a decisive goal in the last two minutes of the game.

It's the second NOHA Gold for the East Nipissing Vipers who also won the championship in the Atom division on March 12th in Powassan.

Team members include goalie's Matthew Laporte and Greg Lintner, players Ryan Burton, Wesley Groom, Cory Leboeuf, Spencer Garland, Aaron Lamming, Steven Lefaive, Josh Forsyth, Josh Callahan, Cody Giroux, Dylan Pawson, Dominic Coote, Craig Lynham, Keinan Paquette, Coach Ray Laporte and asst's Barry Garland, Yvon Giroux, Leon Lamming, Lisa Giroux and Jamie Coote.
