U12 Ring Rebels win Gold in Sudbury

SUDBURY, ON - The West Ferris Ringette Association’s U12 B Ring Rebels came away with the gold last weekend (Dec 4-6) in Sudbury’s Annual Tournament. After winning round robin games against Sudbury (9-0) and Valley East (7-1) the team advanced to the finals where they faced Walden, winning with a final score of 9-4.

“The team showed great sportsmanship, skill and team play throughout the weekend with all members contributing goals and assists and were backed by superb goaltending,” head coach Tara Michauville expressed. “We are extremely proud of the effort put forth.”

The team members are Megan Ablett, Allison Angelo, Sarah Begin, Hunter Carswell, Justin Girard (goalie), Hayley Lazarou, Breanne Maille, Kirsten Mantha, Hannah Michauville, Breanna Mirtl, and Julianne Sevigny. Coaches are Tara Michauville and Sheena Lazarou and manager LeeAnne Maille.
