Trottier heads to U-19 Team Canada Ringette Camp

North Bay's Sarah Trottier will be among the more than 80 girls at the Team Canada Ringette Under-19 camp taking place this weekend in Ottawa. Trottier joins two other Northeastern Ontario girls at the camp - Erika Kiviaho and Renee Delorosbil both from Valley East.

"This is a very big deal for ringette in NE Ontario," said Jeff Francom, president of the Northeastern Ontario Ringette Association.

Trottier is vying for a spot on Team Canada which will compete in Europe in the summer of 2009.
