Trojans girl hockey team heading to York U.

The West Ferris Trojans girls hockey team is competing in the New Year's Classic hockey tournament at York University today and Wednesday,(Jan 10,11).
The West Ferris Trojans girls hockey team is competing in the New Year's Classic hockey tournament at York University today and Wednesday,(Jan 10,11). The Trojans play two games today, against centre Hastings and Bateman and then two games Wednesday, against Collingwood and Holly Cross. The top two teams on round robin play advance to the final at 2:30.

This is the first tournament of four that the Trojans will attend in the New Year. The Team is going south a little short handed as Brittany Bisillian, the Trojans goalie has a twisted knee, so Jessica Marlatt will pick up the tending duties. As well the team will be missing three skaters for various reasons.

Team members include Erin Weber, Kayla Tennant, Shannon May, Ashley Handley, Emily Loveday, Kylie Deschenes, Sheila Trivet, and Kim and Jerrica Mathias.

The Trojans will host their own tournament on February 2,3 ,2006.
