Trappers wrap up Major sweep

The North Bay Trappers swept the Timmins Majors thanks to a 7-6 victory on Saturday night at the McIntyre arena in Timmins. The Trappers took the first two games of the best-of-five series in North Bay last weekend.

Nick Huard led the Trappers lethal offence with three goals, while Chris Hebert added a pair. Liam Berti, Matthew Thompson added singles in the road victory.

Great North Midget league MVP Joel Senecal had five assists for the Trappers.

Michael Therrien had a pair of goals for the Majors in the loss.
