Trappers take Sons in OT

Liam Berti scored in overtime to give the North Bay Trappers a 2-1 victory over the Nickel City Sons at the Balfour arena in Greater Sudbury Friday night. Ryan Leckie had the other Trappers goal. Jordon Scott had two assists in the win.
Liam Berti scored in overtime to give the North Bay Trappers a 2-1 victory over the Nickel City Sons at the Balfour arena in Greater Sudbury Friday night.

Patrick Rochefort got the win in goal for the Trappers.

The win puts the third place Trappers 3 points ahead of the Nickel City Sons in the Great North Midget League standings.

The Trappers continue traveling west as they take on the Sault Ste. Marie North Stars in the Soo on Saturday night.
