Conor Eastaugh scored at 6:18 of double overtime to give the North Bay & District Midget AAA Trappers a 3-2 win over the New Liskeard Cubs in game 2 of the best-of-three Great North Midget League quarter-final series.
The win gives the Trappers the series victory in two straight.
Braeden Villleneuve and Joe Whittet scored for the Trappers in regulation time,
Cade Hurd and Brett Shawana replied for the Cubs.
Brendan Dale got the win in goal for the Trappers.
For the second straight year the Trappers will move on to the GNML semi-finals which begin next week.
