Trappers receive Capital punishment in Sudbury

The Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves scored four times in the second and four more in the third period to break open a 2-1 game en route to a 10-2 victory over the North Bay Trappers in game one of the Great North Midget League semifinal at the Countryside arena in Sudbury Saturday night.

Darnell Koosees and Jordon Scott scored for the Trappers. Mitchell Davis returned from an undetermined injury to add one assist.

Craig Laliberte led the Wolves with three goals while Mathieu Lecours had a goal and four assists.

The Trappers look to rebound on Sunday afternoon for game two in Sudbury. Game time is 2:50 p.m.
