Burke added an assist for a three point night - a big night for the forward who only had 4 points overall in the first 14 games this season with the Trappers.

Riley Dupuis and Aaron Tench scored for the Cubs. North Bay product Patrick Markert, who was a Trappers training camp cut, had an assist on the Cubs second goal.

The Trappers are back in action Saturday night as they host the Timmins Majors. Game time is 7:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.
