Trappers drop a pair on the road

The North Bay Trappers suffered a pair of losses during a two-game weekend road trip to Sudbury. On Saturday they dropped a tight 4-3 decision at the hands of the Sudbury Nickel Capitals.

On Saturday they dropped a tight 4-3 decision at the hands of the Sudbury Nickel Capitals. Tyler Hummel led the Trappers offence with a pair of goals along with an assist. Nick Huard scored the other Trappers goal.
Then on Sunday afternoon in Chelmsford the Rayside-Balfour Sabrecats took a bite out of the Trappers in a high scoring 8-5 shootout.

Once again it was Tyler Hummel leading the offence this time with three goals for the Trappers. Nick Huard and Peter Easton scored the other Trappers goals in th loss.

The Trappers are back in action Friday night when they head north to take on the New Liskeard Cubs and then on Saturday night they host the Timmins Majors.
