Trappers doubled by Nickel Capital Wolves

The North Bay Trappers dropped a 6-3 decision to the Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves on the big ice at Countryside arena in Sudbury on Wednesday night. Craig Laliberte led the Wolves offensively with 4 goals.

Liam Berti, Mitchell Davis and Peter Easton scored for the Trappers in the loss.

The Trappers now have only one win in their last seven games going back to the Big Nickel tournament on the first weekend of November.

The Trappers are back on home ice on Sunday afternoon as they play the Nickel City Sons. Both teams are battling for third place - both tied at 14 points - in the Great North Midget League. Game time is 1:20 p.m. at West Ferris arena.
