Sunday afternoon action saw the Major Midget Trappers skate away with a 6-3 win over the Kapuskasing Flyers in Powassan.
The first period action saw both teams scoring 2 goals apiece with Trapper goals coming from Nick Davis and Jacob Peterson-Galema.
The Flyers scored once in the second period to put them ahead 3-2 but, the Trappers answered back in the third period with 4 goals from Tye Lindeman, Ryan Mills (2), and Zack Lefebvre.
Assists in the game provided by Sam Garagan, Peterson-Galema, Dylan Bond, Ian Denomme, Bailey Chenier, Cole Craft, Lefebvre, and Lindeman.
Trappers netminder Joel Rainville finished the game with the win after relieving an injured Riley Audet during the second period.
The Major Midget Trappers next home game will end their regular season play on Wednesday, February 7th at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Gardens vs the Minor Midget Trappers.
