Trappers head coach Beau Moyer has been selected to coach the team which includes six North Bay Trappers including Great North Midget League rookie of the year Mitchell Davis, goaltender Tanner Davis, forward Roch Pellerin and defencemen Pascal Seguin, Casey Restoule and Dakota Barnhardt. North Bay product Tyler Miller made the All-Star team representing the New Liskeard Cubs.

For the Trappers rookie head coach, it was an opportunity he couldn't pass up.

"The Nickel City Sons took it upon themselves to get this team together and they were looking for a coach and I showed them my interest and they came knocking so I took the challenge," said Moyer.

"I think it's a great opportunity for these kids to show what they've got to all the scouts from down south that usually don't have the time to come up north to see how good the talent level is up here."

The NOHA squad does not have any players from the Sault Ste. Marie North Stars or Sudbury Nickel Capital Wolves as both clubs are still fighting it out in the Great North Midget League finals.

The NOHA All-Stars open the tournament on Wednesday night as they take on the Toronto Jr. Canadiens.
