The North Bay & District Trappers AAA Hockey Association has done its coaching interviews and is announcing the following coaches for the upcoming 2017-18 season.
Minor Peewee - John Couch
Coach Couch brings vast experience to the Minor Peewee level. The former Midget AAA Trappers skipper coached the Major Atom AA Trappers to an NOHA title in March.
Major Peewee - Sheldon Masson
Coach Masson, was an assistant coach with both the Minor Peewee AAA Trappers and the Major Bantam AAA Trappers this season.
Minor Bantam - Scott Huycke
Coach Huycke returns behind the bench and moves up with his Major Peewee AAA Trappers team into Minor Bantam.
Major Bantam - Bill MacMillan
MacMillan takes over the Major Bantams after serving as an assistant coach with Guy Blanchard on the Major Midget AAA Trappers this season.
Midget - TBD
All tryout sessions are $10 and all players need a permission to skate form from their home association. Yes, that includes West Ferris and also includes players that played for AAA last season.
