Trappers 1-1 at Kiwanis tourney

The North Bay Trappers are 1-1 after day one of the Kiwanis Midget Hockey Tournament taking place in Gatineau, Quebec this weekend. The Trappers were humbled 11-2 on Thursday morning by the Dartmouth Subways.

The Trappers were humbled 11-2 on Thursday morning by the Dartmouth Subways.

Mitchell Davis and Adam Marceau scored in the loss.

However, the Trappers responded as Tanner Davis was solid in goal as the locals edged the Moncton Flyers 2-1.

Jamie Olivier and Adam Marceau scored in the Trappers first win of the event.

The Trappers are back on the ice Friday afternoon as they face-off against the Ottawa Jr. 67's.
