The Titans were hosting the Sturgeon Falls Lumberjacks on Thursday evening at the Centre on the front end of a home and home set against the Sturgeon Falls Lumberjacks.

Lui Ricci's squad scored the first and last goals of the game, but unfortunetely the Titans scored 9 goals en route to a 9-4 final to send the visiting Jacks back home on a chilly night in Temiscaming.

Patrik Kuchta opened the scoring at 4:31 on a penalty shot and Brandon Labelle closed out the scoring with less than three minutes to play in the game.

Justin Norris regained sole possession of the league scoring race with a 3 goals and 1 assist. Tyler Miller had 1 goal and 4 assists.

Other scorers for the Titans were Elliot Willetts with a pair, Drew Moffat, Nicolas Fournier and Ryder Murray.

On Friday evening the Titans took the short bus ride down to Sturgeon Falls for an 8:30pm game.

Friday's game was completely different in all aspects as the smaller ice surface gave the home team a better opportunity to check the high flying Titans.

The shots were a respectable 40-36 in favor of the Titans.

The biggest difference from the night before was the score.

A single goal by Francis Beauregard is all that was needed to give the Titans the 1-0 victory and the sweep of the weekend series.

Ethan Loo faced 40 shots and suffered the loss while Jonthan Goulet earned the victory and his first shutout of the season.

The Titans now enjoy week off s their next game will be Friday, February 1st when they will host the last place Lefroy Wave.
