Titans impressive at NEOR in the Soo

The third North Eastern Ontario Regional swim meet of the season brought the North Bay Y Titans to Sault Ste. Marie this past weekend.

Leading the way for the Titans were Grace Liritzis and Jeremy Sallie who both earned five first place finishes and one second. Continuing the success were Bittany Pask and Renee Gagnon who achieved top three placements in all their events. Angelina Bolchakova-Racine, Ashley Duquette, Samantha Cowan, Nicole Plumb, Max Sherry, Kristen and Rebecca Gough, Kristen Lazarou, Alyssa Stoppa, Olivia Gagnon, Katherine Tripp and Kelton Baron maintained the Titans strong position by swimming to top five placings while achieving some great personal best times.

Garrett Ryan, Amy and Kayley Niemela and Emily Bolan received several top ten finishes.

Ontario Cup

Several Titans were also competing in the Ontario Cup held in Toronto this past weekend which.

Qualifiers Jennifer Leckie and Bryanna Penno had strong swims with Leckie placing 9th in her 50 and 100 meter breaststroke.
