The masters are set to take the trails

The North Bay Nordic Ski Club will host the Canadian Masters Cross Country Ski Championships between February 24th and March 1st. These events will feature some of the best Master’s age skiers (over 30) in Canada, as well as many local skiers.

The schedule of events for the week is as follows:

Tuesday, February 24th, 11:00 a.m. – long distance skate races
Wednesday, February 25th, 6:30 p.m. – exhibition skate sprint relays, social
Thursday, February 26th, 11:00 a.m. – classic races
Saturday, February 28th, 11:00 a.m. – skate races
Sunday, March 1st, 10:00 a.m. – long distance classic races

Saturday and Sunday’s races will be combined with North Bay Nordic’s annual Blue Sky Loppet, which features skate and classic races with distances appropriate for all ages. Please join us for these exciting events.
