The official voting numbers from the 2007 Kraft Hockeyville competition are in. North Bay ended up defeating second-place Cornwall by more than 13,000 votes.

North Bay was named the Hockeyville champion on Saturday night live on Hockey Night in Canada.

North Bay gets the $50,000 grand prize and will host a unique NHL exhibition game between the New York Islanders and Atlanta Thrashers on September 17th.

North Bay also won $10,000 in arena upgrade funds during the Merit Prize Hockeyville competition back in late February.

NHL and Kraft officials are expected to visit the Gateway City on Monday, March 26th.
