It was a great weekend for a North Bay area curling team that curls out of the North Bay Granite Club.
This weekend Team Winters (under 18) boys curling team competed in one of the qualifying events for the Ontario Winter Games in Timmins and won the event.
The win means they will compete in the Ontario Winter Games in Thunder Bay in February 2024.
The Ontario Winter Games only happens once every two years and Thunder Bay will host the top 8 teams in Ontario.
Team Winters U18 is made up of:
