Subway Peewee's roll in Ottawa

The West Ferris Subway Peewee Hockey team came home from an exceptional outing this weekend in the Bell Sensplex House League Championships in Kanata. In the first game Subway came out firing with a 7-4 win over the Kingston Action.
The West Ferris Subway Peewee Hockey team came home from an exceptional outing this weekend in the Bell Sensplex House League Championships in Kanata.

In the first game Subway came out firing with a 7-4 win over the Kingston Action. Goal scores were Michael Brideau (3), Chris Garlick, Brendan Benoit, Scott Rancourt and Ben Sergent. Assists were from Kathleen Corbiere, Mitchell Ouellette, Michael Brideau and Scott Richmond. MVP was Michael Brideau.

In Subway's second game they came from behind to beat the Kanata Ice Wolves 2-1. Both goals were scored by Michael Brideau. MVP was Michael Brideau

Subway's last round robin game was a 2-0 win over the Clarence Creek Senators. Goals coming from Michael Brideau and Chris Garlick. In goal for the shutout was Matthew Servos. Game MVP was Chris Garlick.

Subway then advanced to the quarter-finals where they defeated the Nepean Rage 3-1. Trailing going into the third period Subway came on very strong for last period scoring 3 goals. Michael Brideau with 2 and Chris Garlick with an empty net goal which sealed the deal. Assists going to Brendan Benoit (2), Ben Sergent, Reginald Leavitt and Mitchell Ouellette. Michael Brideau was named the game MVP.

Subway then advanced to the semi finals playing the Kanata Inferno to a very hard fought game but Subway just ran out of steam losing to the Inferno 5-3.

Goals coming from Michael Brideau with the hat trick. Mitchell Ouellette was named game MVP.

Michael Brideau was the tournament leader with 11 goals and finished 1 point away from being the tournament point leader with 13.

Team members are Matthew Servos, Reginald Leavitt, Robert Bosselle, Tyler Besner, Braeden Desbois, Kathleen Corbiere, Brenden Benoit, Ben Sergent, Michael Brideau, Scott Rancourt, Mitchell Ouellette, Ryan Peplinski, Melissa Calicuiri, Scott Richmond and Chris Garlick.

Coaching Staff is Mike Brideau, Dave Richmond, Ron Benoit, Chris Aube and Clara Corbiere.
