Stingers force deciding game

The North Bay Midget Stingers forced a third and deciding game as they defeated the Carte Blanche Rotarians 6-1 in game two of the best-of-three North Bay Senior Men's Baseball final at the Steve Omischl Sports Complex on Monday night. 

Kyle Backer got the win pitching seven solid innings for the young midget team, while Matthew Sookram, suffered the loss.  

The Rotarians opened the series with a convincing 8-3 win on Sunday night.

The Stingers and Rotarians will play the deciding game of the series at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday night at the Steve Omischl Sports Complex.
