Solid performance by Trappers in Peterborough

The North Bay Midget AAA Trappers travelled to Peterborough on the weekend to play in the Peterborough Petes Tournament of Champions.

The team had a great weekend finishing fifth out of 23 teams at the Midget AAA event.  

The Trappers finished with three wins and one loss, beating the Cambridge Hawks 3-0, the Central Ontario Wolves 3-1 and the Niagara Stars 4-0.

The only blemish on the team was a 4-0 loss to the Markham Waxers.

Drew Joyal picked up two shutout wins over the weekend.
