Despite the cold weather over 40 eager competitors showed up to Laurentian Ski Hill to take part in the 15th annual Cheapskates Snow Wars Snowboard Competition.

Competitors who represented their hometowns of North Bay, Corbeil, Sturgeon Falls, Callander, Brampton, Innisfil, Minden, and Elk Lake were vying for over $4000 in prizes.

Top spot in the Female Category 15 and under went to Catalyn Davis and Max Eberhardt to the title for the boys 15 and under. And Darcy Black and Kenton Atkins took the In the 16 and over category.
