Skyhawks win in Sudbury

The North Bay Skyhawks gained two points on their rivals from Sudbury Wednesday night as they doubled the Junior Wolves 4-2 at McClelland arena Wednesday night. Frank Desbiens, Nick Kulas, Matt Collins and Quinn Waller scored for the Skyhawks.

The North Bay Skyhawks gained two points on their rivals from Sudbury Wednesday night as they doubled the Junior Wolves 4-2 at McClelland arena Wednesday night.

Frank Desbiens, Nick Kulas, Matt Collins and Quinn Waller scored for the Skyhawks. Michael Lalande stopped 30 shots in the Skyhawks victory.

The Skyhawks are now four points back of league leading Sudbury and have two games in hand on the Junior Wolves squad.

The Skyhawks have a pair of weekend games as they travel to Blind River for a Saturday night clash with the Beaver and then return home Sunday to host the struggling Manitoulin Islanders.
