“We had a great start to the game,” noted Skyhawks head coach Ian Swalucynski.

“It was a back and forth game with a lot of powerplays and both teams had a lot of sustained pressure.”

Ian Wilson got the win in goal for the Skyhawks. The Oklahoma native made a key stop late in the game on Brenden Biedermann to preserve the victory.

The Skyhawks finished 2 for 9 on the powerplay while the Jr. Wolves scored once on six powerplay opportunities.
