The North Bay Skyhawks and TVCogeco have agreed to broadcast the December 14th game between the Sault Ste. Marie Thunderbirds and North Bay Skyhawks live on TVCogeco at 7:30 p.m. on Cable 12.

Cogeco will bring together their Hockeyville broadcast crew of play-by-play man Greg Estabrooks and analyst and Sports Firing line host Frank "The Toe" Caruso.

“These guys did a great job with their fall hockey assignment so we look to their return to the Gardens gondola to present our NOJHL brand of Junior A hockey,” said Skyhawks Director of Marketing Ralph Celentano.

“We will showcase the skill and intensity of our Skyhawks team with the whole community as we are proud of this season’s line up. We are seeking to appeal to a larger audience by reaching out to those folks who have not been or cannot get down to Memorial Gardens in this 2007 North Bay is Hockeyville year to see what all the buzz is all about,” added Celentano.

During the intermissions, a number of player profiles produced by Cogeco Skyhawks videographer Blake McChristie will air introducing the viewer to a number of Skyhawks players.

“We feel we have the best Sunday Night reality show in town so it is great to partner with Cogeco Community Television by promoting our team, encourage everyone to take in a few games and support our local team - although there is nothing better than watching a LIVE action filled entertaining hockey game," Celentano said.

The Skyhawks hope that the TV viewers will get an opportunity to see what they are missing.

"We hope those at home will become interested once again and come down to the rink to share in our passion for our Country’s greatest game."

The Skyhawks invite you to consider a night out to see our game Friday, December 14 but if you are visiting loved ones, at home wrapping gifts, or hosting friends for a pre Christmas visit, tune in to watch your First Place Junior "A" NOJHL North Bay Skyhawks team on Cogeco Community 12.
