The Skyhawks website is reporting that the team has traded their leading scorer Neil MacDonald along with Denis Parent and defender Mark Baker to the Manitoulin Islanders in exchange for the rights to Denis French.

“Denis will add speed, tenacity and scoring to our lineup” said GM Guy Blanchard on www.skyhawks.ca.

"With 12 points in 9 games with the Islanders (6 goals and 6 assists), French will most certainly fill a void."

But the Skyhawks did pay a price to acquire French. They gave up MacDonald, who led the club with 10 goals and 7 assists in 19 games.

The Skyhawks are still looking to trim their roster by the December 1st deadline.
