Austin Rugal put the Skyhawks on the board late in the first period.

It stayed that way until the midway point of the third period when Jamie Dalliare finally solved Michael Lalande to even things up at 1-1.

But just over two minutes later on the powerplay Dennis French fired home the game winner and Nick Kulas iced the victory with a minute left to play also on the powerplay.

After losing four straight the Skyhawks have now won their last two home games and they conclude the regular season schedule on the road next Saturday when they make a visit to Iroquois Falls to take on Darren Turcotte's Abitibi Eskimos.
