Quinn Waller scored the game winning goal during a shootout as the North Bay Skyhawks defeated the Manitoulin Islanders 2-1 in Little Current on Sunday night.
Matt Collins scored the only goal in regulation play for the Skyhawks who completed an impressive three game weekend road trip with three victories.
The win spoiled an impressive performance by Islanders goalie Billy Stone who turned away 62 Skyhawks shots, including eight during the five minute overtime period.
