Skyhawks doubled by Thunderbirds

The North Bay Skyhawks continue to have difficulty defeating the Soo Thunderbirds. The Skyhawks fell to 2-4 against the team from the Lock City after dropping a 4-2 decision to the T-Birds Thursday night in Sault Ste. Marie.

Brad Hummel and Jordan Carroll scored for the Skyhawks in the loss.

"They put away their chances and we didn't," said Skyhawks head coach Ian Swalucynski after the game.

The Thursday night contest was the first of two in Sault Ste. Marie. On Friday afternoon the Skyhawks take on the Blind River Beavers in the second game of the NOJHL Prospects Tournament.
