The North Bay Skyhawks dropped a 4-3 decision at the hands of the Eskimos - the Skyhawks fourth straight loss against the Iroquois Falls franchise this season.

Justin Roy, Trent Lizee, and Jordan Carroll scored for the Skyhawks. Carroll's third period goal gave the Skyhawks the lead 3-2 early in the third but the Eskimos bounced back with two power play goals - one by Cody Fox and the eventual game winner by David Proulx.

The Skyhawks last victory against the Eskies came way back in November.

It was a big loss for the Skyhawks who had an opportunity to overtake the Soo Thunderbirds for sole possession of first place in the NOJHL standings. Both teams are currently tied with 85 points, with the Thunderbirds having two games in hand on the Skyhawks.
