A local skater picked up a pair of medals at this weekend's Skate Ontario Championships in Kingston.
Alex Buchmann participated in Star 9 Short program on Friday and finished in 2nd place earning a Silver medal.
On Saturday, Buchmann competed in the Star 10 long program and won.
He is the Provincial Champion is this category.
